When the time comes to Remember our dogs we seek comfort in these 2 things:

I was told the Iroquois believe 'there is a greater spirit that ties all living things together .. it is called the web of life .. spirits come into it, dwell there, and then in time they go back out again to be born into other living things .. if a spirit has been very cherished in one life, it can be reborn back into that same life to be near to the ones it loved and who loved it before ... when your beloved dogs leave you in body, sing their spirits to the star web of life ... in time they will come back, hopefully to you or someone you love ...'
